Sheila received her B.A. in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and her Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA. Combining her prior marketing management experience with her college consulting practice, Sheila helps students put their best foot forward during college admissions. Drawing on her marketing and branding skills, Sheila guides students to effectively introduce themselves throughout the application. Her approach is both creative and analytical. She combines marketing expertise with data analysis and trend evaluation in the ever-evolving landscape of college admissions.
Dedicated to ensuring every student finds the right college fit, Sheila has experience supporting students with unique considerations, including those with learning disabilities and ADHD. She has experience working with students who are interested in attending various types of colleges, including large universities, small liberal arts colleges, and selective institutions. Committed to helping underserved students, she continues to provide pro bono college advising through community-based organizations and nonprofits. Sheila enjoys supporting students on their journey to college.
As a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, Sheila is committed to the highest standards of industry ethics and best practices. Focused on continuous professional development, Sheila attends classes, seminars, and conferences to expand her knowledge of the complex terrain of college admission and affordability.
An active mother of three, Sheila’s athletic pursuits include golf, tennis, hiking, and spinning classes. An avid baker, she's known for her chocolate chip cookies, which are a favorite among family and friends.
